Stazi Li
My name is Staz, and I am an artist. My journey as an artist began when I was just five years old, when my parents enrolled me in an art school where I studied oil painting until I was seventeen.
At the age of 21, I enrolled in the Estonian Academy of Arts, majoring in Graphic Design. I studied there for four years and earned my degree in higher artistic education.
In 2016, I opened my own art studio where I taught painting to others. The studio operated until 2018. That same year, I became fascinated with tattoo art and began working in this field. Over the next 7.5 years, I developed my skills and achieved success as a tattoo artist.
In 2025, I realized that my true passion lies in oil painting. At the end of July 2025, I started actively focusing on painting and promoting myself as a visual artist on social media. I absolutely love what I do now and feel that I am exactly where I belong.
My work is about taking images from the intangible world and bringing them into the material one. I may not know exactly why this is necessary, but I do know that I cannot live without it. I hope that through my art, I can make the world a little more beautiful and better.
